Jakarta – Extreme Networks, a leading US-based enterprise networking solution provider, has successfully accommodated and secured wireless access points in one of the biggest music festivals in the world, Java Jazz Festival, held at JIExpo in Jakarta on 2-4 March 2018. The company was trusted by the event promoter to provide secure access points in three main areas, namely registration at the entrance gate, official merchandise booth which involved cashless transactions, and special performances gate as access for international musicians and public officials who attended the event.

The participation of Extreme Networks as the technology partner in this year’s Java Jazz Festival was in line with the company’s commitment in delivering the best wireless access points service in Indonesia. The company who has 20 years of experience in wireless network field was also trusted to provide access points in several National Football League (NFL) stadiums in the US where each stadium’s capacity can reach to 100,000 people.

The Extreme Networks success in Java Jazz Festival was also supported by PT Blue Power Technology (BPT), an IT solution provider and subsidiary of CTI Group, which conducted the network installation, monitoring, to the unloading for the event. With long experience and complete solution portfolio, BPT could ensure and maintain the solution delivery will reach the customers’ maximum service expectation.

Entering its 14th year, Java Jazz Festival 2018 has reached more than 15,000 participants this year. A number of local musicians performed in this festival, namely Andien, Yura Yunita, Glenn Fredly, and Java Jive, along with international musicians such as Avery*Sunshine, Paul Jackson Jr., and Goo Goo Dolls. A band called Elek Yo Band, which consists of several Indonesia’s current ministers, including Manpower Minister Hanif Dhakiri, Finance Minister Sri Mulyani, and also Head of the Creative Economy Agency Triawan Munaf also took part in the music festival.
